Berhampur: Durga Puja celebrations will be held in the silk city from October 9 to 13.
Considering the rush in traffic, the Berhampur Police has made elaborate traffic arrangement for the public convenience from 4 PM to 12 Midnight daily till October 13.
Here are the details:
1) No Heavy vehicles including Buses coming from Bhubaneswar side will be allowed through Lanjipalli By-Pass to Komapalli Chaka.
2) No Heavy vehicles including Buses will be allowed from Haldiapadar Chaka towards town through Andhapasara Chaka.
Heavy vehicles including Buses from both directions will be diverted towards town through Gopalpur Junction and Khodasingh. They will move to new bus stand through Courtpetta Chaka. Vehicles which will move from New Bus Stand towards NH-By Pass will move through Gatebazar – SBI Road — Suba Rao Chaka -Tata Benz Chaka — Komapalli Courtpetta Chaka -Engineering school Chaka and Gopalpur Junction.
3) No Heavy vehicles including Buses coming from Aska & Digapahandi side will be allowed from Haridakhandi Petrol Pump Chaka towards Andhapasara Chaka. They will move to New Bus Stand through Gate Bazar-SBI Road -Subarao Chaka- Tata Benz Chaka — Komapalli & Courtpetta Chaka.
No Entry for Four & Three Wheelers from 04.00 P.M TO 12.00 Midnight:
1.Khallikote College Chaka to Subarao Chaka
2.Balunkeswar Chaka to Bada Bazar Chaka
3.Taluka Chaka to Desi Behera Chaka
4.Giri Market to Hanuman Bazar Chaka

1. No Vehicles will be allowed from Gate Bazar side towards Courtpetta Chaka
