Berhampur: The Berhampur Police has successfully recovered the stolen cash worth more than Rs 9 lakh within 48 hours of the incident.
As per police, Rs 9,40,000 was stolen from a motorcycle dickey on October 6 evening. A case has been registered at G.Nuagaon PS.
A special team of G.Nuagaon PS led by SI. Gyana Ranjan Behera has recovered all the stolen cash within 48 hours and arrested the accused.
The accused has been identified as one Thabir Patra.
He had allegedly stole the cash from his relative’s house on October 6.
Berhampur SP Pinak Mishra congratulated the G.Nuagaon PS for the excellent investigation which led to recovery of the stolen cash from the criminal.
