Berhampur: A training programme was conducted on Thursday for the police personnel of Berhampur Police district for the ensuing simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections 2024.
The police personnel of the rank of Inspector and above took part in the training programme, which was held in the office of SP Berhampur.
The role of police personnel in the strong enforcement of Model Code of Conduct was elaborated. Special focus on executing NBWs, binding down trouble makers U/s 107 & 110 CrPC was discussed.
Special mention was given to Border sealing along Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh. Total 6 Border Check posts are identified and functional along the important border areas. Continuous checking will be done along them, informed Berhampur SP Dr. Saravana Vivek M.
Flying Squads have already been activated and they are doing their work. Area domination Flag March is being done by BSF persons in all police station areas, the SP added.
