Bhubaneswar: Bringing laurels to the State, Bhubaneswar has bagged the Swachh Survekshan Award 2023 in New Delhi on Thursday securing 34th All-India ranking among 4417 cities that participated in the Swachh Survekshan 2023.
The Odisha capital city was ranked 80th in Swachh Survekshan 2022.
Bhubaneswar was also awarded as the State’s Cleanest City along with Water Plus status. The capital city also got Three Star ranking in the garbage-free city category in the country.
BMC Mayor Sulochana Das and Commissioner Vijay Amruta Kulange received the prestigious awards.
