Khordha: In a significant development, Bhubaneswar Divisional Labour Commissioner (DLC) has issued notice to both the OTV authorities as the Tarang studio workers’ strike entered the sixteenth day on Monday.
The DLC has asked the OTV authorities to appear at the office on November 18
It may be noted that scores of contractual workers of Tarang studio have been staging demonstration in front of the building in Sarua against pay cuts and layoffs.
The workers alleged that the company is taking undue advantage of the pandemic to exploit its employees.
The Baghamari police had also arrested two staff of Odisha Infratech earlier for allegedly threatening workers of Tarang studio.
