Bhubaneswar: The oldest market complex of capital city Bhubaneswar situated in Unit II was today shut down indefinably after a fight was erupt between two groups of permanent and temporary shopkeepers. As the tension went out of control, the Capital Police had to intervene. Later, the market was shut down indefinitely. The Market Building shopkeepers association is protesting the presence of temporary vendors who have been many times warned not to enter into the market to open their shops. Last Monday, the BMC had also barred the temporary shopkeepers from entering the area.
