Bhubaneswar: The first coordination committee meeting of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) was held at Sankha Bhawan here on Thursday.
The meeting was chaired by senior BJD leader and former minister Debi Prasad Mishra. Most of the members of the committee attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the BJD leaders have discussed on a range of issues concerning to the the state. They also held discussion about the strengthening the organizational base of the party, as per the reports.
Notably, BJD President Naveen Patnaik has constituted the 15-member committee to coordinate various party activities across the state.
The committee members are Debi Prasad Mishra, Pramila Mallik, Niranjan Pujari , Bikram Keshari Arukha, Pratap Keshari Deb, Pradip Kumar Amat, Aruna Kumar Sahoo, Aswini Kumar Patra, Pratap Jena, Sarada Prasad Nayak, Sudam Marndi, Manohar Randhari, Snehangini Chhuria, Mahesh Sahoo and Debesh Acharya.
