Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal does not work for winning elections but to win the hearts of the Odisha and to serve them, said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here today.
Speaking at the party’s State Council meeting after re-elected as the President of the BJD for the eighth consecutive term, Naveen said, “As long as BJD keeps people in front, people will continue to bless BJD and give it a chance to serve people”.
“As Biju Babu has said, people are the masters in a democracy and we are there to serve them”, Naveen said.

Naveen Patnaik thanked the 4.5 crore people of Odisha for giving him an opportunity to serve them.
He also thanked the lakhs and lakhs of BJD workers for electing him as the President of BJD.
