Bhubaneswar: The early trends coming from the counting centers of various districts for the Zilla Parishad seats are indicating a massive victory for the ruling Biju Janata Dal from all across the state.
Trends received so far are showing the Biju Janata Dal candidates are leading in more than 202 seats out of the 247 seats from which trends have been received. The BJP on the other hand is leading in just 25 seats. the congress is leading in 15 seats. The Biju Janata Dal candidates are leading in all the ZPs of the state.
In Kandhamal, the BJD is leading in 9 of the 11 zones whose trends are out. Likewise, in Kendrapada, the BJD is leading in 8 of the 8 zones whose preliminary trends are out. In Keonjhar, the BJD is leading in 8 of the ZP seats out of nine seats whose trends have come out. In Ganjam the Biju Janata Dal is leading in 15 ZP seats ut of the 17 seats whose trends are out.
