Bhubaneswar: The winning candidates of Biju Janata Dal in the recently concluded Attabira and Hindol Notified Area Councils (NACs) elections met party President and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here on Thursday.
Naveen congratulated the BJD leaders and advised them to work for the development of the people.
The Chief Minister also promised them that he will visit both the NACs.
Notably, the Biju Janata Dal had registered massive victories in the NAC elections in Attabira in Bargarh and Hindol in Dhenkanal districts.
The party won 11 out of 16 wards including the chairperson’s post in Hindol NAC. In Attabira, it clinched 11 out of 12 wards.
