Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal’s social service wing Odisha-Mo Parivar helped to bring back bodies of two Odia youths, who died in a tragic incident in Japan.
Mortal remains of deceased youths – Shaikh Mantaj of Balasore district and Shaikh Baharuddin of Jajpur district – were received by the Odisha-Mo Parivar team at the Cargo Area of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata on Sunday.
Mantaj and Baharuddin, who were working as chefs in a hotel in Japan’s Tokyo city, died due to suffocation because of the gas leak while they were cooking.
The untimely death of the youths left their families in a state of deep shock. The bereaved families were worried to bring the bodies of deceased youths back to Odisha. The Odisha-Mo Parivar came forward to extend helping hands to the bereaved families.
With the instruction of Chief Minister and BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik, Odisha-Mo Parivar Convenor Arup Patnaik and Honorary Adviser Bibekananda Pattnaik got in touch with the Indian embassy in Japan to bring the mortal remains of the deceased youth.
The Odisha – Mo Parivar received the mortal remains of deceased youths at the Cargo Area of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata and handed over to the families.
On behalf of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Odisha – Mo Parivar also provided a token of assistance to the family of the deceased youths.
Earlier, the social service wing of the ruling BJD had rescued four youths stranded in Dubai.
