Bhubaneswar: The BJP-led Odisha Government is failing to control the rising prices of essential commodities, alleged the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) here on Wednesday.
Prices of essential commodities, like pulses, rice and vegetables etc, have skyrocketed, adversely affecting the poor and middleclass families, said the BJD.
The BJP Government is showing helplessness in controlling prices. If the government does not control the prices, the BJD will launch massive protests.
The BJD further alleged that due to unscrupulous traders, the prices of essential commodities are increasing. What steps have been taken by the government to control the rising prices, asked the BJD.
