BJP Govt Trying to Take Credit for Projects Completed during BJD Govt: Rohit Pujari

Bhubaneswar: The BJP government in Odisha is trying to take credit for the projects that were completed during the previous government, alleged senior BJD leader Rohit Pujari.

By putting the posters and banners featuring Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, the BJP government is trying to take credit for projects, which have been completed during the tenure of Naveen Patnaik, the former minister said.

Pujari pointed out that the posters showcasing the image of CM Majhi have appeared unexpectedly in front of the Samaleswari temple in Sambalpur. Similar displays were also found at various locations between Nelson Mandela and Chaurpur squares falsely attributing credit for the bridge over Mahanadi at Chaurpur, the BJD leader added.

Pujari emphasized that the renovation of the Samaleswari temple was completed during the Naveen Patnaik’s tenure. The construction of the Chaurpur bridge was also completed by the BJD government.

He criticized the BJP government for attempting to take credit for the achievements of Naveen Patnaik.
