Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has allowed the reopening of the market area in Bapuji Nagar in the capital city here with conditions.
The popular market was sealed by the civic body on May 12 for an indefinite period for violation of social distancing norms.
After reviewing the situation, the BMC has given permission to 50 standalone shops of the market with conditions, according to reports.
The BMC said that no vehicles should be allowed to enter into the market.
All the shop owners have been urged to follow the norms of social distancing norms and ensure that the customers in their stores should maintain social distancing, the civic body said.
