Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has decided to ramp up Coronavirus test to 1400 per day, said Anu Garg, Principal Secretary of Women and Child Development Department and COVID Observer for BMC.
Briefing media, she said, “We have decided to ramp up the Coronavirus testing to 1400 per day. In fact we have achived the 1400 testing today, she added.
She further stressed on the reducing time of contact tracing after the test.
She said that 15 Rapid Response Teams (RRTs) have been deployed in the BMC area to minimise the contact tracing time.
These 15 dedicated teams are specifically working towards contact tracing and patient shifting work across various hospitals, COVID care centres and home isolation cases.
The RRTs constitute health-care experts from Community Medicine and AYUSH.
