Jharsuguda: A police personnel posted at the Gandhi Chowk Out Post in Brajrajnagar ASI Gopal Das has fired at the Health Minister Naba Kisore Das five rounds, as per reports.
The police officer has been apprehended. He was issued a revolver and why he fired upon the Minister is not known. Inquiry is on.
Meanwhile, the Minister has been shifted to the District Headquarter Hospital in a critical condition. According to reports, another person accompanying the Minister is also injured in the shooting.
