BSKY Team Extends Helping Hands to Helpless Patient 

Jajpur: A team of Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) has earned praises from all quarters for extending helping hands to a helpless patient suffering from critical ailment in Jajpur district.

Tikini Naik, a native of Deduri Sahi in Danagadi block, got proper treatment with the efforts of the BSKY team.

After coming to know about the illness and struggle of Naik, the BSKY team immediately jumped into action on a mission mode.

On the instructions of Jajpur District Chief Medical and Public Health officer, the doctors and health team of Danagadi Community Health Center went to Naik’s house and checked her health condition. Preliminary tests revealed that she was having severe pain due to swelling in the lower back of her spine.

She was immediately brought to the health center where X-rays were taken and first aid was given. She was sent by ambulance to Jajpur District Headquarter Hospital for further examination and diagnosis.

Her CBNAAT and other diagnostic tests were conducted at the district hospital to determine the type and condition of the disease she was suffering from.

 

She was treated under the supervision of Danagadi Community Health Center. She has been provided with all necessary high-quality medical supplies free of cost. The health centre is regularly monitoring her health condition. Her name has also been registered on the Nikshay portal to provide Rs 500 per month for nutritious food. She will get the assistance from this month.

Meanwhile, the family members of Tikini Naik, local intellectuals and common people have appreciated the efforts of the BSKY team.
