Koraput: Odisha Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra has visited Kotia Panchayat as part of his ongoing three-day visit to Koraput and Malkangiri districts.
He, along with senior officials of the district including Collector Abdaal M. Akhtar, went to the border villages with Andhra Pradesh and reviewed the various ongoing developmental projects.
He interacted with the local people and various self-help group members. He also took stock of the facilities available in the schools, Hospitals and other government services of Kotia Panchayat.
The Chief Secretary also visited and inspected the Adarsha Vidyalaya at Kotia.
During his visit, Suresh Mahapatra interacted with some of the farmers who are producing best quality strawberries in Kotia and assured them all government support in their endeavor. He also had discussions with the self help group members who are manufacturing brooms.
