CM Attends Monsoon Session from Residential Office

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has joined the Monsoon Session of the 16th Odisha Legislative Assembly from his residential office through video conferencing.

The Monsoon Session of the Assembly began from today amid COVID-19 restrictions. The Session will continue till October 7. There will be eight business days in the Session of the Assembly and October 2 will be the holiday on account of the Gandhi Jayanti.

The ensuing Session will have no Question Hour and the House will convene for around 4 hours daily.

The State Government is expected to table a total of 16 Bills including nine Ordinances during the Session.

Meanwhile, all safety measures have been taken to conduct the session as per guidelines issued for Covid-19.
