Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has condoled the demise of noted Odia lyricist Nimai Mohanty.
Taking to Twitter, the CM said that he was saddened to know about the passing away of Odisha’s famous lyricist Nimai Mohanty.
Mohanty will always be remembered for the imprint he left on the world of Odia music through many popular songs, Naveen said.
ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଗୀତିକାର ନିମାଇଁ ମହାନ୍ତିଙ୍କ ଦେହାନ୍ତ ବିଷୟରେ ଜାଣି ମୁଁ ଦୁଃଖିତ। ଅନେକ ଲୋକପ୍ରିୟ ଗୀତ ଜରିଆରେ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ସଙ୍ଗୀତ ଜଗତରେ ସେ ଛାଡ଼ି ଯାଇଥିବା ଛାପ ତାଙ୍କୁ ସର୍ବଦା ସ୍ମରଣୀୟ କରି ରଖିବ। ତାଙ୍କ ଅମର ଆତ୍ମାର ସଦଗତି କାମନା କରିବା ସହ ଶୋକସନ୍ତପ୍ତ ପରିବାର ସଦସ୍ୟଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ମୋର ସମବେଦନା ଜଣାଉଛି।
