Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday dedicated another 490 transformed high schools in the five districts during the second phase of the ambitious High School Transformation Programme under 5T Initiative of the State Government.
The transformed schools were in Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi and Bargarh districts on the fourth day of second phase of the High School Transformation Programme.
As many as 135 transformed high schools in Cuttack district, 95 schools in Kendrapara district, 100 schools in Kalahandi district, 70 schools in Jharsuguda district and 90 schools in Bargarh district have been dedicated.
The transformed schools have been equipped with modern facilities that will help bridge the gap between the dream and success of students.
A total of 2,908 state-run high schools have been transformed in the second phase of the High School Transformation Programme.
