New Delhi: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi met his West Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee in New Delhi on Saturday to discuss about the potato supply problem to Odisha.
CM Majhi said that the process of supply of potatoes to Odisha from West Bengal has become normal.
The CM further said that the Food Supplies has reviewed the situation in the warehouse to resolve this temporary problem.
The state government is taking necessary steps to control potato prices and solve the supply problem as soon as possible, the CM added.
Earlier, Leader of Opposition (LoP) Naveen Patnaik wrote to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee requesting her to intervene to ensure smooth supply of potatoes to Odisha.
