Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday reviewed the law and order situation in the State.
The Chief Minister chaired a high level meeting with senior police officers and urged them to listen to the grievances of the people.
“The Chief Minister has instructed us to provide quality services and listen to the grievances of people coming to police stations,” DGP Arun Kumar Sarangi said after the meeting.
The Chief Minister was apprised of several law and order issues and functioning of the police force in the State, the DGP added.
The meeting was attended by Director Intelligence Saumendra Priyadarshi, ADGPs – RK Sharma, Sanjay Kumar, Arun Bothra and Amitabh Thakur, Twin City Commissioner Sanjeeb Panda and other senior officers.
