Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has announced an increase in the Dearness Allowance of State Government employees and pensioners. As per a release from the CMO, the Dearness Allowance has been increased by 4 percent. With this, the total Dearness Allowance of the government employees has risen from 38 percent to 42 percent. This will be effective retrospectively from January 2023. Likewise, the TI of the pensioners has also been hiked by four percent. This will benefit about 7.5 lakh Government employees and pensioners of the state.
