Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday approved an In-stream Storage Structure for Cuttack district.
The Chief Minister has sanctioned Rs 350 crore for this project.
This project has been named as Baideswar In-stream Storage Project in Mahanadi.
Notably, on the directions of the Chief Minister 5T Chairman VK Pandian had t visited Cuttack district and had received proposals from the public for different projects. The Chief Minister has approved this project by the proposal received from the people.
This project will benefit people of three blocks. In addition to increasing groundwater level, the project will be especially helpful for drinking water projects, pisciculture, animal husbandry, etc.
Baideswar project will benefit the people of Baramba, Banki, and Bhapur blocks.
