CM Naveen Approves Industrial Estate Police Station At Khordha, New Traffic PS At Keonjhar and Barbil

Bhubaneswar: Keeping in view the growing needs, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has approved the setting up of an Industrial Estate Police Station at Khordha and Traffic Police Stations at Keonjhar and Barbil. For this, 47 new posts will be created.

The current Industrial Out-Post at Khordha will be converted into a full-fledged Industrial Police Station for which 23 new posts will be created. For the two new Traffic Police Stations in Keonjhar district, 24 new posts will be created.

The decision to convert the Industrial Outpost into Industrial Estate Police Station has been taken by keeping in view the safety and security requirements of Khordha Industrial estate. The new posts will include one Inspector, six Sub-inspectors, three Asst Sub-inspectors, two Habildars, and eleven Constables.

Likewise, for the two traffic Police station, 24 new posts will be created that will include two Inspectors, six Asst Sub-inspectors, and 16 Constables.
