Bhubaneswar: In an important decision, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today formed a high level committee that will oversee the inventorization and counting of valuable articles and jwellery of the Ratna Bhandara of Sri Jagannath Temple. The Committee will be headed by former Supreme Court Judge Justice Arijit Pasayat. According to a release from the Chief Ministers’ Office, renowned cardiologist Dr Ramakanta Panda will be the Vice chairman of the Committee.
Following the order of the Orissa High Court regarding Sri Jagannath Temple Ratna Bhandara, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has formed the high-level Committee under the chairmanship of Justice Arijit Pashayat, former judge of the Supreme Court, the release stated. The Committee will oversee the preparation of inventory of Lord Jagannath’s jewels and various valuables in the Ratna Bhandara. The Committee will comprise 12 members including the Chairman.

– Sri Durgaprasad Das Mohapatra, Servitor Representative
– Sri Madhav Chandra Mohapatra, Servitor Representative
– Sri Jagannath Kar, Servitor Representative
– Shri Ganesh Makapa, Bhandara Makapa Servitor
– District Collector Puri and Deputy Chief Administrator of Sri Jagannath Temple
According to the release, the Chief Administrator of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration will be the convener of the Committee.
