Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has mourned the demise of eminent film actor and director Padma Shri Sadhu Meher.
In a condolence message, the Chief Minister said that Padma Shri Sadh Meher was an admired personality at the state and national level for his strong acting and direction. He has left his mark with flawless performances in both Hindi and Odia films.
Meher is the first Odia actor to be honored with the National Film Award. He has been honored with many honors and awards for his excellence in the field of art.
Sadhu Meher’s demise is an irreparable loss to the world of art, the CM said.
The Chief Minister expressed his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed peace to the departed soul.
