Bhubaneswar: The land required for construction of Railway Over Bridge in Rajgangpur in Sundargarh district will be purchased directly from the public and not through acquisition. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has ordered the officials in this regard and also instructed to speed up the process of the construction of the Railway Over Bridge.
It is worth mentioning here that, 5T Secretary V K Pandian had visited Sundargarh District on 11th and 12th March and reviewed various development programs and also heard the grievances of the people. During this visit, he came to know about the land acquisition problem for construction of the rail overbridge at Rajgangpur.
After discussing this with the Chief Minister, the Chief Minister decided to directly purchase the land required for the RoB by the State Government and speed up the construction work. The rail overbridge will be constructed at Rajgangpur Mauza between Sonakhan and Kansbahal stations in Sundergarh district.
