CM Naveen Orders Hike In Daily And Retainer Fees of Non-Cadre Law Officers By 50 Percent

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today ordered for fifty percent hike in the Daily and Retainer fees of the Non-cadre Law Officers working in various courts of the state. According to a release from the CMO, the decision will benefit about 1215 Law officers.

According to the release, after the hike in fees, 184 Additional Public Prosecutors who were getting Rs 1250 as Daily fees, will now get Rs 1875 as Daily fees. Likewise, the Retainer fees has been hiked from Rs 8200 to Rs 12300. The government has also hiked the fees of 740 Assistant Public Prosecutors who were getting Rs 1100 as Daily fees to Rs 1650. The Retainer Fees for them has also been hiked from Rs 4000 to Rs 6000.

The 85 Special Public Prosecutors, who were getting Daily Fees of Rs 1250, will get Rs 1875 after the hike. The Retainer Fees for them has also been hiked from Rs 8200 to Rs 12300. Likewise, 29 Government Pleaders and 113 Assistant Government Pleaders, who were earlier getting Retainer Fees of Rs 8200 will now get Rs 12300.
