Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed deep grief over the death of veteran Biju Janata Dal leader and former MLA V. Sugnana Kumari Deo. Taking to X, Naveen wrote, “I am saddened to learn about the passing away of noted politician and former MLA V Sugnana Kumari Deo. As a senior leader of the Biju Janata Dal, she was instrumental in organizing the party. She has left an indelible mark in public service by representing the Khallikote and Kabisurjyanagar assembly constituencies for 10 times. It is an irreparable loss. I pray for the eternal peace of the departed soul and convey my condolences to the bereaved family members.”
