Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has left for Dubai in the United Arab Emirates to participate in the Odisha Investors’ Meet 2022 which will be held on the 29th of this month. Earlier today, India’s Ambassador to Italy, Neena Malhotra gave a warm send off to the Chief Minister.
Naveen had a hectic schedule in the Italian Capital Rome where he met Pope Francis at the Vatican City and met up with Odia Diaspora. One of the most important agendas of the Chief Minister was the meeting with the World Food Program Executive Director David Beasley and the leadership team at the WFP headquarters. Naveen shared with them the state’s transformational progress on strengthening livelihoods and the achievements on food security.
He also discussed about the state’s partnership programs with the WFP on food security and other issues.
Secretary to CM, 5T Initiatives V K Pandian, Principal Secretary Food and Civil Supplies VV Yadav, and Resident Commissioner Ravikanth were present during the deliberations at Rome.
In dubai, the Chief Minister will attend the Odisha Investors Meet and interact with investors from various countries.
The meeting is scheduled to be held on the 29th of June. More than 350 representatives from various countries are likely to attend the meeting and explore the possibilities of investing in Odisha. He is also likely to meet the Odia Diaspora living in Dubai.
