Mumbai: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will ring the opening bell of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today.
The Odisha CM will visit BSE at Dalal Street and attend the ceremony to ring the opening bell between 9 am and 9.30 am, as per reports.
The Chief Minister will ring the bell at 9 am, signaling the start of stock exchange trading. Trading will start after 15 minutes.
BSE has a tradition of ringing the bell before trading begins.
The Chief Minister will ring the opening bell of the BSE for the first time.
Many noted personalities, including Amitah Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Yogi Adityanath have done the honours of ringing the BSE bell before.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Chief Minister had addressed investors from diverse sectors at the Odisha Investors’ Meet and showcased them business opportunities in the State.
