Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who is on a week-long tour to Japan, will today address the Odisha Business Meet 2023 in Tokyo. Naveen was given a warm welcome in Tokyo by the Indian Ambassador to Japan Sibi George and other embassy officials. The Chief Minister will showcase Odisha’s potential for attracting investments. He will also hold one on one discussion with the prominent business leaders of Japan. He will also invite the investors from Japan to invest in Odisha.
The focus has been on attracting investments into the state and the high level team led by the Chief Minister will engage with a large number of business leaders from Japan. The state has been able to attract big ticket investments in the last few years with the recent Make in Odisha Conclave of 2022 alone attracting investment intents of more than Rs Ten lakh crores. The focus of the Odisha delegation will be on attracting investments into the mining, Minerals, food processing, technology, petrochemicals, and tourism centric sectors. Naveen is also scheduled to visit Kyoto and Osaka in Japan and meet the potential investors and attend business meetings.
