Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will flag off the special Baristha Nagarika Tirtha Yatra Train from Bhubaneswar today. The Special train will take senior citizens to pilgrim places at Tirupati and Vellore.. The Government of Odisha has made all arrangement for the pilgrims for a hassle free experience of free pilgrimage. Senior citizens from Puri, Khordha, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Dhenkanal and Kendrapada are taking part in this pilgrimage.
The Government of Odisha facilitates the pilgrimage of senior citizens to various important places of the country under the Baristha Nagarika Tirtha Yatra Yojana. The special train will carry more than 900 pilgrims who will be accompanied by government officials, doctors and nurses, and escorting officers.
