Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will today handover appointment letters to 406 newly appointed officials of the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment. The newly appointed officials include 261 Assistant Agriculture Officers, 102 Assistant Agriculture Engineers, 43 Seed Production & Marketing Officers and other posts.
The new appointments will augment the manpower of the Department and help further boost the development of the farmer community and propel agriculture production in the state.
