Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will visit Bargarh district today to inaugurate and lay foundation stones of a number of important developmental projects. The Chief Minister will inaugurate the Gangadhar Meher Lift Irrigation Project and the 100-bedded Cancer Hospital among others. According to sources, the Chief Minister will leave for Bijepur at about 11 AM and reach Kanapali at about 11. 45 AM. He is scheduled to inaugurate the Gangadhar Meher Lift Irrigation Project taken up with an expenditure of Rs 1677 Crore. Naveen will also inaugurate the 100-bedded Cancer Hospital set up at Bargarh with an expenditure of Rs 106 Crore. Likewise, he will also inaugurate the transformation and development works of famous Nursinghanatha Pitha taken up at a cost of Rs 22.78 Crore.
During his visit to Bargarh District, Naveen will today inaugurate 59 developmental projects worth Rs 342 Crore. He will also lay the foundation stones of 21 development projects that will undertaken with an expenditure of Rs 263 Crore.
