Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will leave for Delhi on a four day visit today. He will attend the Oath Taking Ceremony of Draupadi Murmu on Monday. The Chief Minister will also have meetings with various ministers and officials on issues related to the state.
The Chief Minister had congratulated Murmu yesterday on her election as the next President of India. Naveen had tweeted “Congratulate the daughter of Odisha, Smt Droupadi Murmu on being elected as 15th President of India. It is indeed a very proud moment for everyone in Odisha that she has been elected for the highest office in the country.”
The Chief Minister also spoke to her over phone and wished her all the very best on behalf of people of Odisha. He said her that the entire family of 4.5 Crore people of Odisha are proud of her achievement.
