Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will leave for New Delhi on a six day visit today. He is scheduled to meet the ambassadors of about 16 countries and discuss with them the business opportunities in the state today evening. The Chief Minister will take part in the special Curtain Raiser event of the Make In Odisha Conclave today evening.
The Chief Minister is likely to meet the diplomats from the USA, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Belgium, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and the UAE.
He will discuss about the forth coming edition of the Make-in-Odisha Conclave with the diplomats and elaborate on the ease of doing business reforms implemented by the Odisha Government. The Curtain Raiser Event will also be attended by Minister of Industries, MSME and Energy Pratap Keshari Deb.
Some of the important investors and industrialists from the National Capital Territory Region will also participate in the daylong event.
On Sunday, CM Naveen Patnaik will be conferred with the prestigious Life Time Achievement Award by Capital Foundation for his outstanding leadership qualities. The award would be provided under the aegis of Capital Foundation Society at the India International Centre Auditorium, New Delhi. The award will be presented by former Chief Justice of India N V Ramana in the distinguished presence of Justice A K Patnaik, said Capital Foundation Society.
The Capital Foundation society has Parliamentarians, Civil Servants, Judges, Diplomats, Journalists, Scholars and Professionals coming together to exchange ideas. This makes the Capital foundation different from all other public forums. Board of Governors of the Capital Foundation Society include Judges of the Supreme Court, Cabinet Ministers, Senior Civil Servants, Political leaders representing different parties and interests, Academics, Defence and Police Chiefs, Jurists, Social workers, etc.
During his six days visit to New Delhi, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will have detailed meetings with various Union Ministers and Officials regarding issues related to the state.
