Bhubaneswar: Good news for farmers of Odisha. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will today release the KALIA assistance for Kharif cultivation. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will launch the disbursement of KALIA Assistance to the beneficiaries which will be directly deposited into their bank accounts. More than 46 lakh small and marginal farmers and landless farmer families will benefit with this. The Government of Odisha will release more than Rs 933 crore through DBT for this. An additional financial assistance of Rs 360 crore will also be given to more than 18 lakh landless farmer families. Apart from this, the Chief Minister will inaugurate KALIA Centers in 30 districts.
