Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will launch the ambitious ‘Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha’ yojana in Rayagada and Jharsuguda districts.
The Chief Minister will launch 2613 developmental projects worth Rs 91 crore belonging to Rayagada district and 957 projects worth Rs 39 crore of Jharsuguda district under the Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha programme.
The Chief Minister had launched the ambitious scheme on October 10th. The scheme will augment rural infrastructure leading to accelerated growth as well as help promote, preserve and protect Jagannath culture and traditions of the State. The vision of the intervention is to transform Odisha to modern and aspirational Odisha retaining the essence, soul and spirit of Jagannath culture and spreading over to the world. The main objective of the scheme is to provide missing links to the existing small and essential projects and development of infrastructure. It also aims at achieving empowerment of women, youth, bridging critical gaps in education, digital and sports facilities, such as improvement of infrastructure.
