Cold Wave Conditions Prevail In Many Places Of Odisha, G Udaygiri Records 5.4 Degrees

Bhubaneswar: Cold wave conditions prevailed in many places of Odisha in the last 24 hours. While G Udaygiri in Kandhamal district recorded the lowest temperature of of 5.4 degrees Celsius, Phulbani recorded 7.5 degrees. Semiliguda in Koraput District recorded 7.5 degrees. Likewise, Koraput, Chipilima, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Kirei, Jharsuguda, Bhawanipatna, Daringbadi also recorded temperature below ten degrees. Capital city Bhubaneswar has recorded 13.6 degree Celsius and Cuttack recorded 13.4 degree Celsius.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there will be no major change in the minimum temperature (night temperature) during the next 4-5 days. Cold winds from North India and change in wind pattern has influenced the drop in temperature across the state.
