Bhubaneswar: Cold wave conditions are likely to prevail in several districts of Odisha for next two days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted on Saturday.
In a bulletin, the IMD said that cold wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Angul, Dhenkanal till 8.30 am of Sunday.
Cold wave condition is very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Angul, Dhenkanal, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Boudh and Kandhamal from 8.30 am of Sunday to 8.30 am of Monday.
The weather department issued yellow weather warning for these districts during the period.
The highest maximum temperature of 31 degree Celsius was recorded at Malkangiri and the lowest minimum temperature of 5.6 degree Celsius was recorded at Jharsuguda in the State in last 24 hours, the IMD stated.
