Bhubaneswar: Cold wave conditions returned to Odisha as mercury continues to dip in several parts of the State.
There will be gradual drop of minimum temperature by 4 to 5 degrees Celsius in most parts of the state from Monday, according to the Meteorological centre here.
Dense fog is likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, Angul, Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Khordha and Puri on Monday and Tuesday, the Meteorological centre predicts.
Meanwhile, Sonepur recorded the lowest temperature of 7.5 degrees Celsius, Angul followed with 9 degrees Celsius.
Bhawanipatna recorded 10 degrees Celsius and Koraput recorded 11.2 degrees Celsius.
Cuttack and Bhubaneswar recorded 12.4 degrees Celsius and 15.3 degrees Celsius respectively.
