Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre Bhubaneswar on Wednesday informed that the weather conditions are favorable for the onset of monsoon in Odisha.
The temperature of Odisha has turned favorable for further advance of southwest monsoon over some more parts of south Peninsular, east India and adjoining areas during June 18 and June 21, the regional metrological centre said.
Meanwhile, Odisha has witnessed a slight drop in day temperature on Wednesday. At 2.30 pm, Sambalpur recorded 43.2 degree Celsius, Jharsuguda 42.4 degree Celsius, Hirakud 42 degree Celsius, Balasore 36.6 degree Celsius, Keonjhar 35.2 degree Celsius, Chandabali 35 degree Celsius, Bhubaneswar 34.2 degree Celsius, Gopalpur 33 degree Celsius, Puri 32.2 degree Celsius and Paradip 32.2 degree Celsius.
