Bhubaneswar: Congress candidate Tarun Pandey on Saturday filed his nomination paper for the upcoming by-election to Jharsuguda Assembly constituency in Odisha.
Tarun Pandey, the son of former Jharsuguda MLA late Birendra Pandey, went on a procession with his supporters and senior Congress leaders and submitted his nomination papers to the Sub-Collector.
PCC president Sarat Pattanayak and MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati were present during the filing of nomination papers.
Voting for the by-poll will be held on May 10 and results will be declared on May 13.
