Bhubaneswar: The opposition Congress has decided to move a breach of privilege notice against Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi in the Assembly tomorrow.
Congress MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati alleged that the Chief Minister has breached the privilege by announcing 10 per cent reservation for Agniveers in all uniformed services of the state outside the House while the Assembly session was going on.
It is unconstitutional to make the announcement outside the Assembly when it is in session, the Congress leader said.
Bahinipati also came down heavily on the Chief Minister for not raising the issue of Special Category Status or special packages for Odisha at the Niti Aayog meeting.
