COVID-19: India Reports Biggest Single Day Spike of 32,695 Cases, Tally Jumps to 9, 70,169

New Delhi: India has reported its biggest single day spike of 32,695 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours to take the total number of coronavirus cases to 970,169, according to the Health Ministry data.

The COVID-19 death toll in the country reached 24,929 with over 600 deaths on Wednesday.

More than 230,000 cases have been detected globally in the last 24 hours, as per the Worldometer data. The global COVID-19 tally reached at 13,691,674 as on July 16.

More than 8,030,267 have recovered from the infection and 586,821 have died so far, according to Worldometer.

The US continues to remain the most affected country in the world, registering over 70,000 cases in a day. The COVID-19 tally in the US reached 3,615,991 and death toll to 140,105.

Brazil is the second most affected country after the US with 1,970,909 cases and 75,523 deaths.
