New Delhi: India has reported its lowest number of single day positive cases of COVID-19 after four months.
As per the data given by the Union Health Ministry, the country recorded as many as 30,548 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, which is the lowest number after the gap of four months.
Last time, the country had reported less than 30,000 daily cases on July 15. It was 29,429.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 caseload in the country reached at 88.45 lakh with the addition of 30,548 new cases and the death toll due to the virus mounted to 1.3 lakh after 435 people succumbed to it in the last 24 hours.
The number of active cases now stands at 4,65,478 in the country.
