Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today appealed everyone coming from abroad to to mandatorily register themselves through toll free number-104 or online portal https://covid19.odisha.gov.in within 24 hours of arrival, to prevent spread of COVID19 in the State.
Naveen said that self disclosure will help the Government in tracking and containing the pandemic.
“I appeal everyone coming from abroad to mandatorily register themselves through toll free number-104 or online portal https://covid19.odisha.gov.in within 24 hours of arrival, to prevent spread of #COVID19 in #Odisha.Self disclosure will help us in tracking and containing the pandemic”, the CM said in a video message.
Odisha Government’s website https://covid19.odisha.gov.in became functional from March 17 for self-registration of foreign returnees in view of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) outbreak.
As many as 1239 persons have registered on the Odisha Government’s COVID-19 online portal for self-quarantine within the 24 hours of the launch of the portal.
Odisha is the first state in the country to have made such a regulation to combat COVID-19.
